These will be excellent changes to see implemented ! :)

Make the bat 50SC. Please.

We've already been having huge money sinks and this only makes it worse. SC is hard for people to obtain.

Rolling hunting update just before winter is super unfortunate imo. :(

I used to get few large carcasses (4 or 5) daily from my team and now it seems to be almost impossible. My 550+ stats team (100% prof/synergy) in medium biome have only 39% for large prey. I'm moving my pack to the easier biome now. Maybe that update balanced hunting in challenging biomes, but as a player in medium biome I don't feel it helped me. I like how we can see the percentages now though!

It won't stop that logic, though. The stone costing more doesn't suddenly nullify the genetics of proven carriers nor active visible studs, so people are still going to mass breed pups from the proven carriers and visibles and sell the pups as 'part of a mutation line.' This just makes it more expensive to find new lines (without just breeding for the sake of breeding and hoping) that would reduce the instances of inbreeding to keep a mutation going. This doesn't change anything about the current behaviors of users trying to compete in the mutation market, as nothing has changed about the breeding aspect of getting the mutations, only the ability to reliably scry an NBW or pup from an unconfirmed carrier.

Honestly, I really don't think that someone who pays hundreds of SC or a chunk of GC to breed to a Melanistic stud is going to scry the puppies at 150SC a piece when it's just too much of a loss. The confirmed carriers won't sell for enough to cover all the failed pups and the stud fee. Much easier and less expensive to just go 'oh, these puppies have a Melanistic dad - they have a 10% chance to carry the gene.' So those pups will still be taking up server space and clog the market for their first 13-24 days of life, just under a different label.

If the Gene scry price won't be changed I at least want there to be more ways to make SC!

As stated by another poster, most of us do NOT have endless time to fish or grind to collect items to sell. (Drops are not very common anyhow). I was already upset to learn after getting to 5k sc you can't really collect it in exploring. My main way to get SC is the one daily quest and selling food items about to rot. And that payout is not great. A good day for me would be 300sc profit for a day (and again that is NOT every day!). So 150 for scrying one wolf is utterly ridiculous to me. 

If you like the update and have that SC to spare, cool! But don't get upset with people who are less than pleased about it. Plus, criticism is not meant to attack the mods but to try to make the game better for everyone. 

My thoughts exactly Sarafina! The update would be awesome if SC wasn’t already an issue. 

I'm sure this has been said before but with a 150 SC fee EACH the hunt for NBW mutation carriers is dead. NIB is desired in mutation sales, how are mutation breeders going to fare after a few months of this? Even scrying a potential litter for a 1 out of 10 chance, with a 150 SC fee means if you do get a carrier at that rate, you will literally be selling it for less than the cost of all the scrying at this point due to the market crashing. I suggest dropping it to 50 SC. 

I wish the gene bat cost a little less. I think 50-70 SC would be more fair. You only had to scry possible carriers 3 times to see 10 results. I liked to scry at least 5 times just to be safe. Any carriers would have shown up by then.

150 just feels ridiculously expensive in comparison. 

If the price isn’t lowered for checking mutations then hopefully the people who do pay the 150sc can make some profit selling their confirmed carriers on the market. Like uh... maybe people will instead just buy confirmed 150sc carriers from the tc and forms instead of scrying themselves?

Perhaps we could throw potential carriers onto the tc for x amount and people who decide to make selling confirmed carriers their currency making business will buy them “blindly” and then you wont just be paying to check duds?

Could be a good currency making situation hopefully? Idk I wanna be hopeful that this will work out if the price isn’t lowered 😭

idk if I was able to write that like it sounded in my head. Hopefully y’all understand what I was trying to convey. But yeah, def think it’ll be hard to do tons of scrys right now due to sc being hard to make in a short period of time
