"Hello." Phoenix said softly. "Would you like to play?" When Phoenix talked with younger pups, another side of her seemed to come out. One that was caring and soft, instead of bubbly and excited. She sat down with Blue and showed her how to play a game that was beloved by forest pups- Ball. It went by many names, as it could be played with a ball of moss, feathers, or a pebble. "So, you find a nice, rounded pebble." Phoenix started, after quickly finding an acceptable one. "Now, we find a nice flat area. How the game works is that we each have an end-area. I guard mine," She said, pointing towards one end of the space, "And you guard yours on the opposite side. We use our paws to push the pebble and try to get it too the other pup's end-area. You can try to hit it away from the other pup or pups, but you can't pick it up. Do you want to try?"

"Oh," Canna said softly when she heard Pheonix's sad story. Imagining if Raccoon had been caught by that bird... well, awful would be an understatement. She watched the fire-coloured pup invite the little blue one to play silently.

Song Thrush had sat down and was watching the small puppies play patiently. It made her miss having little pups around... though she was sure that there would be more puppies in White Oak Pack soon enough. But only after we move, she reminded herself. Taking newborn puppies north in the fall or winter would be a terrible idea-- she would wait until the taiga's spring or summer.

Blue looked at the pebble curiously, then nodded. She then bounded over to Lia and nudged her younger sister over, silently asking her to play as well.

Sierra was watching the girls and couldn't help but smile. Blue would definitely enjoy being with her new pack.
