Ash and a small group of her packmates arrived. "I'm here to pick up Blue? Is this a good time?" She gestured towards Spruce, and then towards a sad-looking Cypress. She looked like she had been crying. "They're going to be her foster parents." More softly, Ash added, "All of Cypress's pups have been stillborn or very sickly. None of them survived their first nights. Cypress loves pups so much, she gave up her Scout role to be a pupsitter. She'll be an amazing mother to Blue."

Ash looked around, wondering why everyone was silent. "Sorry, was that a bit much?" Then she realized and sighed. "I'm such an acorn-brain! I'm early, aren't I."

Sierra looked over to the newcomers. "You're just a day early. If you want to hang out here and have her meet you that would be perfectly fine!" Sierra turned to Spruce and Cypress. "Thank you so much for offering to take her. We won't have enough space for her and most of her siblings to stay here, so I'm extremely thankful that other packs can take the ones that can't stay."

Kieran looked to the couple. "I can show you to her so you can meet her now and she can get used to you."

Song Thrush looked at the newcomers and kept her tail slightly lowered and her head tilted slightly down, both submissive and respectful. She was feeling very empathetic towards Cypress-- she had lost some puppies too but was lucky enough to have six now. It would have been terrible without pups for a wolf like Cypress. But, since she wasn't exactly a part of the puppy adoption, she didn't speak up. She'd wait to be addressed.

Canna looked at the strangers shyly, then back down at Lia. She sat down, lightly thumping her tail on the ground in front of the puppy, thinking perhaps she'd pounce on it. She wasn't nervous around strangers, per se-- she just never knew what to say or do around them... so Canna settled on playing with Lia until she was spoken to.

A small pup peeked out from behind another one of the wolves. "Hi, I'm Phoenix!" She yipped. "That's my brother Wildfire over there." She tilted her head towards another firey-colored pup, playing with something on his own. "Wanna play? Back in the forest, we have lots of cool toys to play with. I brought this feather with me!" She dropped a colorful feather in front of Canna and Lia. 

Ash nodded in respect to Kieran. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea! I can't wait to get to know her." Then, she turned to Song Thrush. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Ash, leader of Skyshine Pack. I suppose one of those sweet pups is your own?"

Canna bent down to sniff the feather. She looked at Lia and asked, "Want to play with Pheonix?" The prospect of playing with multiple pups seemed fun and possibly a little stressful... but more fun. But, she didn't want to up and leave Lia if Lia wanted to play.

Song Thrush felt a little burst of pride as she introduced her daughter, gesturing with a paw to the adolescent. "Yes, this is Canna. She wants to be our next herbalist." The lead wolf couldn't deny that she loved talking about her pups-- they were the brightest part of her life. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I lead White Oak Pack back in the coniferous forest. Where is Skyshine Pack located?"

Lia reached out a paw and batted at the feather. Seeing the feather then move in a gust of wind startled her, and she backed up a little. Sierra felt the pup bump into her and gently nudged Lia up. "Don't worry, it won't hurt you." Lia looked up to her mom for a minute before approaching the feather. This time, she leapt for it.

Kieran nodded. "Once you are ready, I can lead you there." He then looked back and spotted the pup bounding over. "Or, you could meet her now." He went to bring Blue over, but the pup was more interested in playing with her sister. Kieran smiled. "You might have to wait for a minute though."

Phoenix batted it back. "My mom says this feather fell off of a big bird! Maybe it was an eagle!" She yipped. "That would be cool." She pounced on the feather and showed it to her mother, Canyon Dust. "Honey, the adults are talking." Canyon told her. She licked Phoenix on the head. "Go play with your friends."

Ash thought for a second. It was going to be hard to explain to little Blue that she had to leave. Then, she had a little idea. It might just work, she thought. No harm in trying... Making up her mind, Ash invited Phoenix to come over. "Hey, I know someone who might want to be your friend." She said. "Her name is Blue."

Canna nodded and smiled at the puppies, watching Lia pounce on the feather. To Phoenix, she said, "Yeah, eagles are pretty cool." And scary, she thought to herself, thinking back to when she was a young pup and her sister Raccoon told her and their brother Barn Owl about a huge eagle that had chased her into a bush after she had wandered out of the main camp. Her pupsitter had been preoccupied with a different pup and hadn't realized Raccoon had gone missing. Apparently the thick prickly berry bush had been her saving grace, as the eagle couldn't get around the throny branches.

"They are." Phoenix said. "But why I really like this feather is that I hate eagles! They took one of my siblings when we were really little. So I can pretend I'm fighting that eagle when I play with that feather." She hit the feather again, this time half-heartedly. Thinking about how Cedar had died always made her feel down.

Blue batted at the feather as well before looking up at Phoenix. She slowly approached the other pup as Lia watched on.

(EEEK I hate it's so short but idk what to say, the unweaned children can't speak yet, or at least not well enough to want to)
