np. you can't send two hunting parties in the same biome. |

Support this & love the drop down menu for picking the scouted territory for each party to hunt. I'm surprised that players are running only 1 or 2 hunting parties. I keep 5, with 3 members each, on rotation. They train up in their roles faster, & even if only 3 of the 5 groups bring in meat the whole pack gets fed daily. I also had multiple carcasses to share for players to open on the 25th by hunting this way. |

Honestly, I like the way hunting works now where you can only hunt in your own biome, and I think it makes sense. However, it seems that a lot of people like this idea lol. I think it would be nice to maybe allow hunting any fully scouted biome but maybe if you’re hunting in one that isn’t your home it uses twice as much energy per wolf, as they have to travel there and back? Or alternatively, allowing you to send hunting parties to multiple biomes but only your home biome and any adjacent biomes that you have fully scouted. For example, if you live in the Tundra biome, you could only send hunting parties to the Tundra, Glacier, and Taiga. |

I like BlueFox's compromise~ "Or alternatively, allowing you to send hunting parties to multiple
biomes but only your home biome and any adjacent biomes that you have
fully scouted. For example, if you live in the Tundra biome, you could
only send hunting parties to the Tundra, Glacier, and Taiga." |

i absolutely love the multiple parties in diff biomes part especially!! it helps balance out having to feed larger packs :D the larger your pack, the more hunters you have, the more patrols you can send out (if youve explored there!) right now small packs have the same amount of hunts per day (time wise) as larger ones, which sets a pretty harsh barrier when youve bought larger territory |

Gonna chime in some support, at least with something like BlueFox's suggestion. I think being able to hunt in an adjacent biome might be a helpful compromise for the people who are staying in the harder biomes and have been impacted by the recent hunting changes. Being able to go up or down by a single difficulty level might help. But I agree it should probably either require more Energy for travel or perhaps take a little longer to complete. |

im going to say support. partially for the quest aspect of it but also it might be a nice way to test if you can survive in a biome. while i havent tried the "move biome quest " yet, im personally kind of worried about moving. I really dont want to get stuck in a biome i cant survive in, and then be unable to move back until either a rollover is completed OR until i re complete the snake quest for moving. (not sure if theres either of these involved in moving back, granted but considering theres cooldowns on a lot of things in this game, i suspect theres probably a cooldown or something involved). my concerns aside though, might give a better gauge for players to test if they can actually hunt in their future chosen biome, so people dont get stuck "sinking" cause of a mistake in their own hunting parties. even just allowing a team to hunt in outside biomes (or even if the team hunting in those other biomes gets locked into hunting ONLY in that biome for the day) would be nice. a simple way to maybe make this a bit more of a gamble or investment may be if the wolves sent out to other biomes spend more energy (meaning instead of 20 energy maybe they spend 30 per outing instead) and/or they can hunt in other biomes but at the cost of decreased success. So maybe i can try hunting on the prairie but my large prey succes is 30 percent opposed to the 40 it would be if i lived there. hope this jumble of verbal vomit makes sense? |
