Seconding stefanie.

It's unfortunate this new update messed with how the rainbow slider works. I can't edit my profile page whatsoever now because changing it would completely break the altered rainbow slider I have. I tweaked it to just the way I like it, I would hate to have to get rid of it. Especially since I'm not an expert at HTML so it took me a while to figure out how to edit the slider and background color.

Thank you for making this HTML and letting us use it, by the way. I don't think I've commented that yet. :')

Oh, this is unfortunate... so sorry for the issues going on. It seems the update is significantly changing how user-friendly these codes are being - all the code should still technically work, but will be harder for non-experienced users to apply and edit since now we have WYSIWYG gone and a separate CSS field required.

The true bad news here is that it's going to take me quite a while to "update" this post to accommodate the code changes, because not only did my keyboard break just yesterday (this is being typed on a phone, a generally less friendly platform for coding than a desktop), I also had other updates planned for my CSS thread which still has yet to even accommodate last month's changes.

I'm generally not the best with productivity and project management so I would ask for patience while I investigate what should be done to maintain the usability of my codes. Thank you for your patience :,3

Until then, please feel free to report screenshots/detailed descriptions of the issues you guys are facing with the codes, this would help quite a bit!

(Sorry for late reply!) Take as long as you need (#202), you've done us all a huge favor here by creating these and allowing us to use them for free. There's no rush. It's not like it's your fault it even broke anyway; no one could have seen this coming.

As for what's wrong with it, it gives the message: "Stylesheets are not supported in HTML. Any stylesheets included in the HTML above need to be removed before saving and have been automatically listed below." Then it puts 'https://dl.dropbox.com/s/g8wrali7hdvy0em/rainbow.css?dl=1' in CSS Files.

It literally won't allow me to save the page anymore until I delete what's in the HTML, so I can't fiddle with it to see what's going on. All I can tell is that the slider functions normal as is, but when I click preview, it does this:

(There's no giant empty space above the slider normally, previewing adds that too.)

I don't know if sending you the full HTML will help you, but if you want it, I can send it in a PM.

Actually yeah, I would like the full HTML! Ideally I'm gonna fiddle with it to see what works and why, and what doesn't and why.
Thank you for the kind words :,,,,3

I actually just tried to use that same code and it was just totally broken, most likely because of this new update. Could you send me the HTML as well so I can see if that would work? I really love the look of the little slider boxes

Heh ignore me, I clicked the "Preserve line breaks" box and it seemed to fix things.

Finally, a thread update!
The main post is now updated with in-depth (and perhaps very wordy) instructions on how to install and customize your HTML to your desires. Each goodie now has additional installation information, hopefully enough to suit folks with regards to the recent HTML update.
There is also one new forum goodie added! I'm particularly proud of this one :3
