Fox Base Progress/Info Gathering

I haven't even seen a single fox all day long. I've been on here all day and not one, single fox. I have a few of the items, but at this rate it will easily take me a year and I just don't have the money to buy all the items. It's...frustrating to say the least. This is the first time I've felt like the game was pay to win.

@jackie glad to know I am not the only one not seeing foxes today!

@Bambinosaur It's like they all are hiding from me. They know how badly I want their skin and tails.

User log data from yesterday (12/17/20), Lead wolf was level 15 for each encounter.

3. 03:29:04 Won a battle against a level 3 Gray Fox and got +12 EXP! Total energy used: 10. New HP after fight: 5.
4. 07:41:06 Lost a battle against a level 13 Gray Fox. Total energy used: 8. New HP after fight: 0.
5. 08:05:43 Won a battle against a level 11 Swift Fox and got +381 EXP! Total energy used: 15. New HP after fight: 23.
6. 08:51:15 Won a battle against a level 2 Gray Fox and got +13 EXP! Total energy used: 8. New HP after fight: 19.
7. 13:16:10 Won a battle against a level 10 Red Fox and got +323 EXP! Total energy used: 13. New HP after fight: 33.

The only trophy drop I received was from level 12 Guarding Sled Dogs and it was a Canine Fang, not really a fox drop, but figured knowing my lead was a level 15 and he got a trophy drop from a level 12 enemy might be helpful.

Also a level 14 Alaskan Tundra Wolf dropped 1sc for me when I won.

Edit: on mobile so its more difficult to post user lig stuff for me, but since I remember someone wondering about lucky feet effecting drops I can safely say it doesn't seem that way. Multiple times Ive used lucky feet with nothing really changing and this morning while fighting a fox in glacier with a lucky foot I got the fox eye applicator recipe. So Im guessing that it doesn’t really make a difference.

4. 13:43:43 Won a battle against a level 6 Red Fox and got +144 EXP! Total energy used: 20. New HP after fight: 25.

Again, that recipe drop was while I was in the Glacier Biome

I thought I read somewhere your lead had to be at least level 10 to find any recipes. Does anyone know if that’s true or any other rules? I have fought a ton of foxes in last few days and have got no trophies of any kind. It’s kind of discouraging 

Yes, your lead has to be level 10 for enemies to drop trophies. Enemies also should be within 3-5 levels of your lead to drop trophies, from what was confirmed in the coalition thread.

From what I understand your lead must be at level ten, and fights will only potentially give a trophy if they are above your level, or five levels below yours. A lot of it though it pure luck and RNG. I've fought a few wolves in the hopes of canine parts, but I've gotten nothing, not even meat.

Ok that helps a lot. I’m level 16 so basically anything lower than 11 I shouldn’t even bother with.
