Fox Base Progress/Info Gathering

I got 2 base recipes from artic foxes and I seem to find a lot of red foxes at the prairie at night

Anyone had any luck lately? Cause I sure haven't 😵

I'm level 11

Beat a lvl 1 grey fox. No notable drops.
Beat a lvl 2 red fox. No notable drops.
Retreated from a lvl 4 grey fox.
Beat a lvl 10 grey fox, got a foot scar.
Beat a lvl 18 grey fox, got a grey fox tail and a medium meat chunk. Used a lucky foot.
Beat a lvl 8 grey fox and got 1 agility. Used a lucky foot.

I'll come back to edit this as I kill more.

No luck for me. All my materials have been bought. It's so annoying too when I get a daily quest for a bear and on my second kill I get a bear paw. Gee...thanks.

Got a foot scar from a Level 12 Gray Fox and a couple of canine fangs - one from a Level 14 Red Fox and a Level 13 Gray Fox. I've been sticking with Grassland and Prairie for hunting foxes but if anyone has a better idea of where they're more prevalent, please let me know. 

Haven’t seen a fox for like 3 days lol 

Just got the base applicator from a lvl 12 swift fox in the prairie

I'll try to edit or post again any notable drops as I try to work on it

Hardly finding any foxes, and if I do, they’re too low/high a level to get the applicator drops. Or you know, they end up defeating me. Pretty much any level 17/18 (I’m 16) fox will get me down to less than 5hp, and I’ll do the same to them, and they always win. Even with lucky feet. 

Forgot to mention, they do seem a bit easier to fight lately though I still have trouble.

I did find the eye recipe and an a fox tail both from arctic foxes.
