Fox Base Progress/Info Gathering

Most of my red foxes I've seen in the prairie and desert. So...Idk lol

I've fought 3 red foxes so far and got a drop (tail) on a lvl 16 fox! The others were lvl 3 & 18, no drops on 3 and meat chunks on 18.

These are the only 3 I've found, despite hunting for them like crazy in Coniferous Forest.
Going to try Decidious Forest for a bit and see if they're more frequent there!

@Pastel I love the way youre logging your fights with the foxes! Ill have to do mine that way from now on. I totally forgot about the log recording these stats xD Ive been writing them down by hand so I wouldnt forget then typing them up after using all my energy lol 

@Cornix I too have seen red foxes in the Grasslands and Decidous Forest. 

I've gotten three confirmations on the recipe being in the D. Forest and one within the Desert. Collecting more. Will provide messages for proof if need be!

Here has been my fox encounters so far. I think all of these were desert for the most part since I just love bapping that lizard for bones. I've really not been getting much from the foxes. I think the red fox was D. Forest.

Won a battle against a level 9 Gray Fox and got +267 EXP! Total energy used: 12. New HP after fight: 38.    

Won a battle against a level 16 Gray Fox and got +525 EXP! Total energy used: 13. New HP after fight: 35. Won 1x Meat Chunks [Large] (#27468960).    

Won a battle against a level 6 Red Fox and got +141 EXP! Total energy used: 9. New HP after fight: 41.    

Won a battle against a level 2 Gray Fox and got +13 EXP! Total energy used: 12. New HP after fight: 31.    

Won a battle against a level 6 Gray Fox and got +139 EXP! Total energy used: 9. New HP after fight: 40.    

Won a battle against a level 4 Gray Fox and got +81 EXP! Total energy used: 5. New HP after fight: 42.    

Won a battle against a level 10 Gray Fox and got +316 EXP! Total energy used: 9. New HP after fight: 37.    

Lead wolf was level 13 for these.

@Willowspirit Thanks, I'm bad at collecting data in the moment if I'm not actively thinking about it, so the user log helps.

User log data from yesterday (12/16/20), not a lot of encounters to share due to being asleep for most of the day unfortunately. Hopefully today I'll have better results.

3. 02:30:10 Won a battle against a level 4 Red Fox and got +62 EXP! Total energy used: 13. New HP after fight: 10.
4. 04:56:32 Lost a battle against a level 18 Red Fox. Total energy used: 9. New HP after fight: 0.
5. 06:50:24 Won a battle against a level 6 Red Fox and got +137 EXP! Total energy used: 12. New HP after fight: 14.
6. 06:53:09 Lost a battle against a level 18 Arctic Fox. Total energy used: 7. New HP after fight: 0.
7. 22:11:15 Won a battle against a level 17 Arctic Fox and got +570 EXP! Total energy used: 14. New HP after fight: 12. Won 1x Meat Chunks [Medium] (#27704683).

So on the 15th I fought 6 fox enemies and received 0 drops from them. Yesterday (The 16th) I fought 7 fox enemies and got 1 drop. So Today if I get about the same number of fox encounter fights I'll be able to see if it takes me about 7 to get anything.

Edit: Lead wolf was level 15 during this

Is there any chance we could include lead wolf levels in the information gathered? I've heard that trophies only drop within 2, 3, or 5 levels of your lead, and if we could confirm one of those numbers/there's confirmation out there of such that would be a huge help in grinding for these items!

Yeah, sorry about that. Hadn’t even crossed my mind to include that. But so far my lead has been a lvl 15 this whole time (so both days ive logged he’s been lvl 15, ill add his level to my posts in a moment)

Ive gone through 1200 energy points, encountered only 10 foxes, won against 8 of those foxes, and none of them dropped any of the 56 items needed to craft the base. I wish I had kept track of the number of healing salves Ive used,  its a lot- about 2-3 per battle so 20-30 ish. I havent been fighting anything at all except foxes.

Ill try to remember to start recording healing salve use and if I think of any other details that might be handy to record Ill just continue to edit. Currently my system is to record the date, time, biome, leader, leader energy %, leaders level, a summary of the encounter, the info on the fox encounters from the users log, and now healing salve use (maybe lucky foot use?).

Ive also been exploring the same biome 5xs before moving to the next biome starting with easy, medium, hard, then challenging. Im considering doing the same biomes 10xs in the future, if this is going to be as long as a process as I think it might be. 😆

Thats just how Im doing it though and itll probably keep changing,  I appreciate any and all data ^_^
