Raising Specific Statistics

This guide provides details on how to raise specific stats in your wolves, and how leveling in the different roles affects them. 

Strength:
Battling: Alaskan Brown Bear, Alaskan Tundra Wolf, Black Bear, Elephant Seal, Frenzied Razorback, Walrus Group, Wild Boar, Wolverine
Scouting: Desert, Rainforest
Roles: Finisher

Speed:
Battling: Alaskan Tundra Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Blacktailed Buck, Cougar, Eastern Wolf, Mustang Stallion, Porcupine Caribou, Swift Fox, Timber Wolf, Whitetail Buck
Scouting: Grasslands, Deciduous Forest, Mountains, Prairie
Roles: Chaser

Agility:
Battling: American Badger, Cougar, Coyote, Death Rattler, Grey Fox, Horned Rattlesnake, Mojave Rattlesnake, Ocelot, Red Fox, Timber Wolf
Scouting: Taiga, Swamp
Roles: Chaser

Wisdom:
Battling: Mexican Wolf Pack, Mojave Rattlesnake, Ocelot
Scouting: Riparian Woodland, Glacier
Roles: Herbalist, Stalker

Smarts:
Battling: Arctic Fox, Bobcat, Canada Goose, Coyote Pack, Grey Fox, Musk Ox Herd, Red Fox, Swift Fox, Timber Wolf, Turkey Vulture
Scouting: Coniferous Forest, Tundra
Roles: Herbalist, Stalker

I am currently collecting data on how the points are assigned for different jobs.  Current spreadsheet is here.  If you can provide data on stats before and after you click the leveling button, and the wolf's job, that would be very helpful.  For example:  "294876, Hati, Chaser.  Level 11, 438: 71/107/128/71/61.  Level 12, 462: 76/116/132/75/63."

Leveling up gives you skill points in the following quantities:

From Level 1 to Level 2: 4 pts
From Level 2 to Level 3: 6 pts
From Level 3 to Level 4: 8 pts
From Level 4 to Level 5: 10 pts
From Level 5 to Level 6: 12 pts
From Level 6 to Level 7: 14 pts
From Level 7 to Level 8: 16 pts
From Level 8 to Level 9: 18 pts
From Level 9 to Level 10: 20 pts
From Level 10 to Level 11: 22 pts
From Level 11 to Level 12: 24 pts
From Level 12 to Level 13: 26 pts
From Level 13 to Level 14: 28 pts
From Level 14 to Level 15: 30 pts
From Level 15 to Level 16: 32 pts
From Level 16 to Level 17: 34 pts
From Level 17 to Level 18: 36 pts
From Level 18 to Level 19: 38 pts*
From Level 19 to Level 20: 40 pts*

*based on 2 or fewer data points

The different jobs (on average, this varies by level-- please see the spreadsheet if you want to see specific level info) allocate skill points as follows: [Data updated 01/17/21]

Chaser:  22% Strength, 25% Speed, 21% Agility, 16% Wisdom, 16% Smarts
Explorer: 19% Strength, 22% Speed, 25% Agility, 16% Wisdom, 18% Smarts
Finisher: 26% Strength, 22% Speed, 23% Agility, 14% Wisdom, 16% Smarts
Herbalist: 27% Strength, 17% Speed, 21% Agility, 13% Wisdom, 22% Smarts
Pupsitter: 24% Strength, 20% Speed, 18% Agility, 18% Wisdom, 20% Smarts
Scout: 23% Strength, 19% Speed, 18% Agility, 15% Wisdom, 26% Smarts
Stalker: 21% Strength, 12% Speed, 21% Agility, 23% Wisdom, 23% Smarts

My wolf Red Soul, leveled up from level 1 to 2. (Hunter, purely chaser position). Gained 4 stat points. 2 in smarts, 2 in strength.
