"Yes my dear" Z said wrapping himself around her. He then realized that the kids were gone. But he didnt say anything.

Adelite sighed. “I love you Z.” They laid together until it was dark outside. By that point, Adelite was completely still.

Z nuzzled her " I love you too baby girl" 

Bu then he realized that his mate was gone and just... not breathing. He stood up before walking out of the den and onto the rocky outcrop she used to go on and howled a mourning cry to his pack to let them know that his mate passed away 

The healer howled with Z and curled their tail around the pups.

The other members arrived and joined in the howl before Z looked at the pups from the rocky area and said " I am still the leader of this pack, but a new mate must me chosen. I know of only one. Lust."

Lust looked up " Z... I.. I know we never say eye to eye.. but I will do anything to help you, the pup, and this pack. " she howled in acceptance and stood behind Z who nuzzled her.

(What do you want to do now?)

(Im not sure.. we gotta fine a good ending....)

(We could do a time skip and have the pups be older or something. Z could retire and hand the alpha position to the eldest. That would be a good ending.)

(Yeah.. let me think over the ending and I will  reply back sometime either late tonight or tomorrow.)

three years later and the pups where all grown up

" You three have learned so much from her and Lust. Couldnt be prouder. But I can not be with you  any more.  One of you will be my heir to ruke this pack. "
He looked at each of his children before going back onto the rock, his children going below him as well as the others in the pack

" Today is the day I choose an heir." He looked down at all of them before looking at his only son. "  Goldwin... You are my Heir. Do you take the oath of accepting the ruling of the pack?"

 " I do father. " Goldwin said

" then you shall be the Alpha. may the stars and moons guild you anywhere you go, my son. And don't let harm get in the way of your duties"

And with that Z and Goldwin switched places and the new heir howled as he became the new Alpha of the pack.
