Grant carcasses from Explore battles

I've got a Mountain Goat carcass as a trophy from a Lunar Mountain Goat battle before, so this is already technically in place! If people are interested in this happening more often though I'd make the suggestion that they instead could be rare alternatives to the meat chunk drops rather than trophies. For example when the game rolls to drop meat at the end of a battle, it could do something like:

20% chance to drop Large meat chunks
35% chance to drop Medium meat chunks
50% chance to drop Small meat chunks
5% chance to drop full use carcass if the enemy has a carcass equivalent

I think a low % would be good as it wouldn't oversaturate the market with battle carcasses, but would still alow users who like to battle to get a bonus every now and then. With this rate, every 1 in 20 battles on average would drop the carcass. I don't think it'd be advisable to use this method to feed your pack anyway as there's better ways to get food from explore in most biomes, so these numbers are more based off of a "good job fighting all those battles, have something extra as a treat" y'know?

(here's the user log entry for that carcass to prove its possible! ...I think it's super rare since I've only ever got one battle carcass though haha)
Won a battle against a level 15 Lunar Mountain Goat and got +422 EXP! Total energy used: 5. New HP after fight: 43. Gained 2 Lunar Tears. Morning Storm gained +1 agility. Recovered a trophy: Mountain Goat Carcass

Support. It'd be a more worthwhile alternative to meat chunks, assuming it also had a lowish drop chance for balance reasons. It sucks when I'm trophy grinding for a snake quest and don't have the energy to explore for food, and adding more food to the battle trophy pool would make things feel more balanced especially with the new snake quests.

Similarly, it'd be nice if bones could be added to the trophy pool. It'd make sense and help larger dens manage their amusement better. (A wolf can definitely carry home a regular bone lmao)

ETA: I'd also like to see more carcass items added for this idea-- IE "moose calf" for after killing a moose, as a smaller sized reward than a full carcass to help with game balance. It'd make sense lore-wise, if we assume the animal was protecting their family and you winning left their offspring defenseless and able to be picked off. We have a "small doe" item already, so I don't think it's too outlandish of an idea. Some animals (bears, wolverines) wouldn't make sense for that, but we can assume we've stolen their dinner- maybe we go home with a pheasant carcass, which wouldn't be more food but could be used for quest submission (which is still more utility than meat chunks).

Omg yes.

As it is presently, I have stopped battling entirely other than in a handful of very specific situations:

1. Quest snek wants me to fight. Fine, but not if it wants me to get a trophy...

2. During Lunar events, and I only explore the lower level biomes so that all the fights are guaranteed wins, because I want Lunar Tears.

3. When I was new, I battled to level my lead wolf high enough to find Chased wolves. Now I am aggressively Scouting with my next lead wolf to get her to LVL 15 before her mom dies, explicitly to avoid battling as much as I possibly can. I will do this in the future as well, because I dislike battling.

Would being able to earn carcasses from battling make me enjoy battling more? No, probably not. But would it make it worth the trouble of battling? Yeah. It would probably make it worth the time.

As it is, battling in general is unenjoyable IMO, and I see no reason why anyone would ever want to battle once their wolf is at level 25. This mechanism would make it actually have a purpose.

Edit to add:
It would also be nice to have a way for larger packs to supplement their food needs...and for new players whose hunters are often low level and have no skill or synergy yet!

Support, but only if it was a battle trophy and not super common. I also like the idea of carcasses since it could give more meaning to where you live. I'd love to see more ways to make each biome distinct. Some biomes might have extra appeal or challenge based on prey size. The quality of your lead's fighting skill would feed the pack separate from your team's hunting skill.

as of now I never do combat encounters, I feel like the waste of energy isn't worth it. but if they dropped carcasses I would be a lot more willing to. especially during winter where food is hard to get

Support. I've always wondered how killing a bison and getting a tiny meat chunk makes any sense. I also support adding an extra source of food this way because I think at this point, a lot of players are leaving because not having enough resources (food/amusement) for their pack is a major struggle. I don't see a major con to making food a little bit easier to come by.
