👀Tell me what's your favorite anime/manga!!!! 🌸

I watch / read way too much stuff...hmm shortened list with brief descriptions!

Anime

Bungo Stray Dogs (People have abilities based on book names and run a detective agency) Nanbaka (Colorful characters in jail) Gakuen Handsome (Short, worth the watch just for laughs) Gugure! Kokkuri-san (Fox spirit and other yokai take care of a little girl, comedic) No.6 (2 boys uncover the secrets of a 'perfect city')

Manga (No anime adaption sadly)

+Anima (This one is so good and underrated I'm surprised somebody else mentioned it! People have animal attributes and go on an adventure, of course that's a very vague description) Are You Alice? (Alice in wonderland except Alice is a guy and the white rabbit has to kill him to free the storybook characters, its an interesting spin with fun character designs) Nabari No Ou (This was my first anime and I loved it but the manga and anime have too different endings and the manga is better and more emotional so we're gunna forget it has an anime right now.)

That sounds like an interesting combination of stories! Personally I have been reading the authors' original works in bungo stray dogs to widen my knowledge :) I know Gakuen Handsome is really funny just by seeing some screen shots of it. Nabari No Ou sounds interesting! I'll be looking into it after I finish Golden Kamuy.

Bungo has a LOT of content in general which is good! Nabari is about ninjas in the modern day? They're trying to find all the clan's hiden techniques to unlock the ultimate technique. Oops I didn't explain that one I'm still salty about the anime ha.

I am reading Akutagawa Ryunosuke's works at the moment and they're interesting! I searched up Nabari No Ou and it looks like Rurouni Kenshin. It looks fun to read!

It cool how he used all those different books and authors so well! Who said you can't learn from anime?...or just because anime got you interested in somebody doesn't mean it can't be a literary gift. My friend only liked the arc where the 'American books' came in because he couldn't be bothered appreciating the others smh dude missed the point.

maybe it's just because many of those japanese authors don't have good english translated publications? or maybe your friend just isn't into japanese literature, unfortunatly :(
