OMG Paprika is the best!!!! I love the composer for music in Paprika too, his name is Susumu Hirasawa and is absolutely genius. I plan to watch Akira and Cowboy Bebop just for the art. I have read a few chapters of goodnight punpun. It looks absolutly amazing but it also takes away alot of emotional power from me so I guess I'll read it slowly. I'm glad to see another Paprika fan here in wolvden!

I also want to read Ranma and Gintama since they are so well-known, Inuyasha might be a little too long so I'll have to watch that when I have time. Yu Yu Hakusho is a very old series isn't it? I don't know much about it but since it is a classic and there must be a reason for it. I actually haven't watched a whole lot of Ghibli films, so maybe I should start on that?

Ohh yeah also another thing my friends keep pushing me to watch is the fullmetal alchemist series. I'm definetly noting that.

I've wanted to see the Dorohedoro series ever since the anime came out. But I heard that the anime adaptation made poor art and the movements looked awkward. I'll probably see the manga for it then!

Cells at work is great and I've watched some of it when I got nothing to do, it's a great pass-time!

I'm currently watching Lucky⭐Star and BERSERK anime series. I'm also reading the manga Delicious in Dungeon, so basically I look at lots of different stuff. If the anime/manga is of high art quality, I will go see it!

Other pieces of work that I love:

Definetly you can't leave out EVA. Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the best in History and there's a reason why it is so famous.

I loved the original ending episodes 25-26 of the TV series and haven't summoned the courage to see the End of Evangelion because I know I will definetly become depressed for a few weeks if I watched it.

Another Anime that I would 10/10 recommend is the light comedy anime Nichijou, I'm sure I have watched it over 8 times as a whole and loved it dearly.

It's the go-to place whenever I feel sad or frustrated, and gives a ton of good laughs. The art is surprisingly good for a comedy show like Nichijou, and I don't know if there would be another anime like it.

For movies I recommend the Kyoani films like A Silent Voice and Liz and the Blue Bird.

Also if you would like to see crazy illogical stuff then go to Paprika

For manga I haven't read a whole lot, but I have read the Beastars manga and that's a solid piece. I like Chainsaw man and also enjoyed Wave, Listen to me!. I think Wave also got an anime adaptation earlier this year but haven't looked at it yet, but the op and ed of the anime adaptation sounds brilliant!

i'm totally gonna watch neon genesis evangelion once i finish my current list! i've only heard good things about it so i'm excited to give it a go. even if i end up not liking it, the art is still beautiful so i'm sure i could appreciate it regardless of what i think of it. the only downside is that i'm a terrible procrastinator, so i end up binging half of the episodes and then end up not finishing the series for a while haha!

I think you'll like it since you liked good night punpun! But the original TV series' first 20 episodes are kinda boring. (which leaves only 6 episodes that isn't) But after I watched through the last 6, all of the previous 20 episodes start making sense. It's great! I will see Akira soon when I finish what I'm reading now, too :)

Hands down  my top anime of history, Parasyte. I love the biological take on the antagonist and their evolution throghout the anime. Literally and figuratively lol.

I've never seen many of the original animes: Inyuasha, Dragon Ball, Naruto etc. And Now there's just too much to delve into and I'm not a binger haha.

Others I have seen are Deathnote, Code Geass, Tokyo Ghoul, My Hero Academia. And I'm not caught up on but have seen Fireforce, Attack on Titan and One Punch Man (:

Oh, I'm reading Chainsaw Man right now! I'm almost caught up, and I'm really enjoying it, I really love the art and designs of the demons and characters.

I still need to watch NGE, I actually haven't really watched many of the big name shonen animes (I've watched Inuyasha many years ago, which I still need to rewatch).

Another animanga I'm a fan of is Noragami. It's a fun series revolving around gods using weapon-people (sorta like Soul Eater). The anime stopped after season 2 in 2015 but the manga is still ongoing.

My favorite anime is Nyan Neko Sugar Girls which you can watch on Youtube since the creators uploaded there which means it won't have any changes to avoid copyright.
