I bought an adolescent from the trading center, since I needed an albino carrier, but then I checked her family and it said that she came from two wolves with the mutation albinism.

She doesn't look like she has albinism just yet; so I'm curious, does it show up in adulthood? Since I haven't seen anything from her coat so far, so I'm curious if the mutation will show up during her adult stage. It's just mild curiosity, I'm only freshly starting with mutations so I'm new to the topic.

I know some mutations show within pup age, but still, I'm curious if my (possible) albino will show her mutation and traits during adulthood. Feel free to answer this, and or, give me some sort of feedback!

(TLDR: bought an adolescent from trading who's parents are albinos, but she doesn't show albinism, when does it show up in her?)

a wolf who carries will not have the mutation they carry, but they do still carry the mutation to pass onto their pups, she will not have the mutation present on her fur, but rather has the chance to pass that mutation on to her puppies.

Thanks for the response! I guess I was just a bit confused, I know what a carrier is, it's just that it confused me by the fact that both of her parents had the mutation and yet she did not obtain it.

Is it common for them to not obtain it? Or is it a chance for them to just carry it rather than showing? Because her parents are full blown albinos(derived from other albinos), so it's just a bit confusing on my part.

I've only been playing for a while(approx. 8-9 days) so it's a hard thing for me to grasp, lol.

copy and pasting from grouse house guide -

Non-carrier x Non-carrier = 100% Non-carrier
Non-carrier x Carrier = 90% Non-carrier, 10% Carrier
Non-carrier x Mutation = 15% Carrier, 85% Non-carrier, 0% Mutation
Carrier x Carrier = 10% Carrier, 10% Mutation, 80% Non-carrier
Carrier x Mutation = 15% Carrier, 15% Mutation, 70% Non-carrier
Mutation x Mutation = 10% Carrier, 20% Mutation, 70% Non-carrier

she came from two albino parents, in which albino is a mutation, rendering her at a 20% chance to get a mutation, but the RNG luck faded from her and she got the 10% chance of being a carrier, and theres still a 70% hunk that she couldnt have been a carrier at all.

this little mutation chances thing is helpful for your best chances at breeding mutations!

Ohh, thanks! I'll keep the mutation chances in mind, thanks for showing me this and I appreciate it. I'll check back here whenever I decide to breed any sort of carrier or mutation or mutation and mutation since it's mainly the only thing I'm focused on for the time being. <3
