✨Hoard organization or “burrows”/“holes”🕳

✨Hoard organization or “burrows”/“holes”🕳

Hi, here’s my little suggestion!

id like to be able to organize my hoard. I thought it’d be cool if our wolf could dig burrows or holes to store stuff inside. They’d function like folders, the names are just for flavor. You could title your burrow/hole and store things inside of them. This would create an organization system.

To make a burrow/hole you’d go to your hoard and there’d be an option to dig one. Once dug, you can sort items among the burrows/holes you’ve created. If you no longer wanted a burrow/hole, you could fill them in and the items would be returned to your main hoard section.

hope this is cool for my first suggestion! Good luck with development wolvden team!

This is what I want!! It would be an easy way to organize meds, herbs, food, or stuff you are collecting for fun without being cluttered and difficult to find things if you have a big hoard  :D

I really like the idea! I am always looking for a way to make my hoard more organized.

Alternatively you could maybe create your own bundles which chosen items (like making a nesting material but functions like a food/amusement bundle)

Yes I totally agree with this! I try to organize my hoard by burying medicines, cave materials, bundles and nesting materials but it would be so handy to be able to organize everything just so it's easy to keep count of herbs, food, etc.

It would also be handy if you could organize food by rotting date, ascending or descending outside of when you feed your wolves from their windows.

Yes, absolutely 100% for this idea! The lack of organization between both your hoard and buried items isn't ideal considering this is a survival/resource management game.

I support! It would be really nice to have a way to organize your hoard but without burying the items... I still want them to be available to me, but for me to be able to organize and bundle them.

I would absolutely not be against the idea of burrows being 'subfolders' for our Hoard, I actually like the analogy and support this.

That being said, if the issue at hand is not being able to see all of one type of item in one place - and what I'm reading is that these types are Food or Herbs, which are default item categories - it bears mentioning that there is, in fact, a way to do so, through the "Filter:" dropdown right above our Hoard items, as well as buried items; you can instantly (but temporarily) show only the Food or Herbs (or other default category) of your hoard that way.

Not that I'm discounting how viewing the Hoard/Buried at a glance may definitely feel cluttery at first. Again, +1 for subfolder burrows, especially for non-default item categories, like say, battle trophies, which span multiple categories.

I think personally I'd like the ability to organize what items are in the burrow myself... Like a tab of all herbs is one thing, but being able to create a little bundle of the herbs I'm saving up to make a cure for all or something so I don't accidentally sell them would be nice. But also I want them all together, instead of just being with all the other junk I have buried.
