Idk I feel if we are changing the décor because it is appropriating culture then there are a hell of a lot more things on here that are culturally inappropriate, not to mention look at their sister site, heavily African based......anyways my point being is if you're going to change this then you need to change other things too, you can't pick and choose.

They're not picking or choosing. They're addressing complaints that were made by people of a certain culture. There was a thread long ago (maybe deleted, it was like 2+ years ago) where a lot of people with native american descent raised concerns for a few aspects of the website, the feather included. They addressed one of the concerns (herbert the bear) and now years later they're addressing another concern.

Of course, it seems general opinions have changed since that thread. They're doing the right thing by listening to concerns of members and speaking to a consultant about the matter, and I hope everyone will respect whichever resolution happens.

If people of other cultures raised concerns, I'm sure they'd treat them with the same respect and consideration. But other cultures - to my knowledge - have not made any concerns known.

I just say it from a stance of someone who is of  First Nation decent and African decent, I look at this site as a make believe world, with make believe wolves and make believe culture, I do not associate anything done on here with my practices as an Indigenous or African decent person...I consider it make believe...Sure, maybe if a huge war bonnet was on a wolf I might have a problem with it or even sage as a herb to cleanse lets say.

again I just have mixed feelings over the feather, I could probably go through a lot of the decor and find some things that i think could be associated with other cultures even my own, the sister site is purely based off African culture but that seems to be fine. I am just devils advocate and again I still feel it is bit grey, but that is my opinion and my own only, I do not speak for others of my culture nor do i judge them for having an issue with it. I am on here to have fun and I just don't associate this site with much else other then the make believe animals that it is. I just don't project my human experience onto it and some people do and that's fine.

I just simply don't agree with the feather
