Hey all~

After socializing my wolves a bunch across all the personality types, I think I've figured out how it works.

Thus, I decided to share my findings and make a chart.

As many of us are already familiar with the awesome Personality Chart made by Skudde (#17783), I took much inspiration from their design, with the intention of making the chart easy to read for everyone.

If the likeness is too much, please let me know and I'll change the design. <3

Explaining the "Card Suits" System

To keep track of personality types for hunting, I came up with a system using the Playing Card Suits:

Aggressive: ♣️ (Clubs) & Friendly: ♠️ (Spades)
Stoic: ♦️ (Diamond) & Romantic: ♥️ (Hearts)

With this, I just had to make sure to never set up a hunting party with different symbols of the same color in it.

But Socialization has a more complex personality interaction. In order to get an overview, it was necessary to add more attributes to each suit;

Aggressive: ♣️
♣️ (Clubs) is Black, Rough and Intense

Friendly: ♠️
♠️ (Spades) is Black, Soft and Mild

Stoic: ♦️
♦️ (Diamond) is Red, Rough and Mild

Romantic: ♥️
♥️ (Hearts) is Red, Soft and Intense

Using this system

Hunting


  • Same-Color-Different-Symbol personality types do not get along
    • Aggressive♣️ & Friendly♠️  may fight
    • Stoic♦️ & Romantic♥️ may fight
All other combinations are fine to hunt together.


Socialization

  • The same personality type Loves/Really Like each other (+5)
    • Aggressive♣️ & Aggressive♣️
    • Friendly♠️ & Friendly♠️
    • Stoic♦️ & Stoic♦️
    • Romantic♥️ & Romantic♥️
  • The "Rough"♣️♦️ personality types Like each other (+2)
    • Aggressive♣️ & Stoic♦️
  • The "Soft"♠️♥️ personality types Like each other (+2)
    • Friendly♠️ & Romantic♥️
  • The "Intense" ♣️♥️ personality types Dislike each other (-2)
    • Aggressive♣️ & Romantic♥️
  • The "Mild" ♠️♦️ personality types Dislike each other (-2)
    • Friendly♠️ & Stoic♦️
  • The same-color-different-symbol personality types Hates/Really Dislike each other (-5)
    • Aggressive♣️ & Friendly♠️
    • Stoic♦️ & Romantic♥️
Why I chose which symbol for which personality group
This is just a little extra tidbit if you would like to use the playing card system but might struggle to remember which is which:

Romantic with ♥️ (Hearts) is obvious.. I hope. :)

Romantic doesn't hunt well with Stoic♦️, this left Diamonds the only option in order to utilize the "same color different symbol fights" logic. That said, it's still quite fitting, seeing as Stoic could be considered "tough" like diamonds.

Aggressive with ♣️ (Clubs) was chosen because in my language (Danish), we call it "Klør", which coincidentally translates back to "Claws". But it still works in English, if you assume your aggressive wolves are prone to "clubbing" (beating up) others.

Which leaves ♠️ (Spades) to Friendly.

Thanks for this! The card suits system is really creative and I like how you include both hunting and socializing in it. I'll definitely be referring to this in the future for socializing :)

This is so helpful! I recently came back to Wolvden, and thought the personality system still worked the same, so I had no idea why my romantic wolf kept fighting with my aggressive wolf while socializing!
