Personality InteractionsToday we introduce Personality Interactions! We are bringing some new features to the game along with some personality flavour text to give your wolves an extra bit of character. Please read more below - we hope you enjoy!Personality TraitsStarting today, the personalities of your wolves will introduce some small adjustments to their stats.Each personality will give a gentle +7 boost to one stat, a minor +3 lift to another, and introduce a small -3 penalty to a third stat. These modest modifications are not game-altering, but they add a touch of individuality to each wolf's abilities. You can click the spoiler tag below to see a full list of each personality and the stat adjustments. Additionally, this can be found when hovering over the ? icon beisde the Total Stats on a wolf's page.
Do note that these stat adjustments are subject to each wolf and their present personality—they do not pass onto puppies during breeding. Also, if a wolf's personality changes, the stat adjustments will also change to reflect the new personality. Additionally, we've added some special bonuses for your pack leaders! Each lead wolf will receive a small bonus based on their personality. Though this change is subtle, it will give you an extra bit of flavour when picking your leaders, and help to add some variety to your packs. You can see a full list below in the following spoiler tag, but this can also be viewed on a lead wolf's page, when hovering over the ? icon beside their personality.
SocializingSocializing allows your wolves interact with one another and forge friendships (or create enemies). This can be done regardless of their current activity, and acts as a relationship builder among wolves.Each wolf can socialize once per day with up to four other wolves. This can include your lead wolf, and even your frozen wolves! Depending on how well they get along, you may find that their mood is boosted and the skillful wolves you send may impart their knowledge to those who are less skilled. Be careful though, if you send more wolves that dislike one another than those that like each other, you may find that they are more likely to fight than to socialize and bring the whole mood of the group down! Currently, only adults can socialize - we hope to add puppies and adolescents to Socializing in a future update! Relationship Value is the new statistic to look out for between two wolves. It can range from -100 (Worst Enemies) to 100 (Best Friends). Each time you Socialize your wolves, this Relationship Value will change depending on how each of your wolves likes or dislikes the other wolves in the group. The value will decay just slightly each rollover, and this can sometimes be at double speed if the wolves are no longer in the same pack. Wolves in a pairbond will always increase, regardless of their personality synergy or clash. Socializing can be found on your Den page - we've had a bit of a rearrange of the Den images. We have separated Nesting and Pupsitting into their own sections, and Socializing can be found next to them. Relationships PageYour wolves relationships can be seen on the Socializing page, but if you're not keen on that, they can be found on the new Relationships page - this can be found by visiting your wolf's Family page and clicking on the Relationships tab.New AchievementsWe have a bunch of new achievements introduced with Socializing! They can be found under the "Pack" section:Making Friends - Socialize your lead wolf with at least one pack wolf. The Favourite - Become Best Friends with one of your pack wolves. Social Butterfly - Become Best Friends with 10 of your pack wolves. Meet My Nemesis - Become Worst Enemies with one of your pack wolves. Public Enemy No. 1 - Become Worst Enemies with 10 of your pack wolves. Best Friends Forever - Have two of your pack wolves become Best Friends. Know Your Enemy - Have two of your pack wolves become Worst Enemies. Quality Over Quantity - Have two wolves at Best Friend status with no other wolves at Liked or above. Enemies to Lovers - Set a Pairbond at -100 Relationship Value (Worst Enemies) and socialize them to positive 100 Relationship Value (Best Friends). Personality Flavour TextWhen you visit one of your wolves, you will sometimes notice a new notice at the top of their page. They will now give an interaction to show how much they appreciate you as a lead wolf and may even bring you a gift!Visiting your wolves and getting one of these messages will increase your lead wolf's relationship with that wolf as a secondary method to increase your relations with your pack. This can happen a maximum of once per wolf per day. Relationship Flavour TextWhen sending a Scout, Forage or setting puppies with a Pupsitter you will also get new interactions with your wolves - these are based on the relationship that these wolves have with your lead wolf. They may love you, or they may hate you, but either way they will let you know!Shhh, spoilers...We have a preview of an upcoming random lethal mutation... |
