Born deaf didn't make his life easy and he couldn't do much with other puppies, since he can't hear he is considered useless as a hunter and if he can't hear when a pup needs help then pupsitter also isn't his job, and well communication wasn't his thrill and it was only with Ersod the old herbalist that he stayed the old female was loosing her hearing too due to her age but being an herbalist it wasn't a problem and Avoc wanted to stay with her and he proved to be doing quite alright as an apprentice and was well accepted by Ersod as an herbalist but the rest was rather doubtful and anxious about having such an important duty given to an handicapped wolf, and it was a bit difficult not hearing the symptoms his packmates were having and he could only rely on his sight, nose and knowledge
