Katjuk is a friendly and personable soul. Unlike most of the males living within the Valley, he has a gentle nature about him. He likes to spend time with the ladies, not necessarily because he's a charmer, but because he finds them to be more fun than majority of the males. He enjoys in depth conversations and is open to many views.

~Songbirds~
The Songbirds hunting party was formed by Katjuk himself when he recognized that more and more adolescents were traveling to the Valley of Shadows to train to become hunters. The parties formed previously were filled with adults who snapped at any youngsters wanting to join. Songbirds party is for young wolves with a desire to hunt with no where else to go. These wolves can only hunt within the Coniferous, Deciduous, and Riparian forests and woodlands. This team is tightly knit and strives to become stronger and better hunters

Katjuk spent the first few months of his life living within Inuk Pack, playing rambunctiously with the other pups and minding his mentors. A few days after turning five months old, his birth pack was visited by three mysterious strangers who'd crossed the border with almost no second thoughts. This of course posed a threat to his birth pack, but the wolves here were kind and the strangers did not look as if they meant violence. Protected by his mentors and the rest of the pack, Katjuk was unable to hear the hushed conversation that happened between the strangers and his leader.

After several long moments, Katjuk was exposed to the strange wolves as they sniffed him, looking him over. Nervous yet intrigued by what was happening, Katjuk listened to what his leader told him. He'd been chosen as a peace offering, a symbol of allyship between Inuk Pack and this new, strange pack whose leaders stood before them. Confused, excited, and scared, Katjuk was lifted into the maw of one of the strangers as she carried him away from his home. His pack did not stop her, instead they watched him go boldly.

It wasn't long before he discovered his purpose in this new strange pack. He was important here. At least a little bit more than some of the other pups. He noticed the fierceness in which the pupsitters protected him compared to some of the other pups, and he was visited often by the Queen who asked him questions and had conversations with him. As he grew, he was told what his true purpose was here, and as a young adolescent he understood his responsibility. Keeping peace between Inuk and Highridge by spreading his bloodline here, as well as becoming a hunter. In return, Highridge would protect him and join forces with Inuk Pack if trouble ever happened to befall them.

Katjuk left Sunrise Meadow upon turning six moons old to join the hunting ranks within the Valley of Shadows. He found there to be an abundance of other wolves his age with no precise placement or victims of the older hunter's aggressions. He trained and fought, hunted alongside the experienced, and soon grew to be a large and handsome young adult. Having no exact place in an already full hunting party, Katjuk decided to form his own. He would accept any and all wolves who did not have a place in a party and hunt with them as one. As he entered his prime, he was visited by Queen Vixen once more. The news was given that Aenar was stepping down from his role, leaving the space open for Katjuk to truly begin his purpose here.

Now he spends his days hunting and breeding with those who wish it, furthering his bloodline and keeping an allyship alive.Spending Info
