The whimpers, cries, and relentless calling of merchant wolves gathered for the daily act of trading gathered, willing to sell anything. Anyone too. Losi forced himself atop his littermate, knawing on her ear. She yelped, and a trembly, white-pelted male snarled. His lips curled back, directed towards Losi's face, and the pup fell backward in a stumbling roll. His floppy ears fell over his eyes, shielding him from his sister's trembling body, and the figure that was to approach.

"Excuse me," called a feminine voice. The murmurs of adult talk automatically got filtered out from Losi's ears as he struggled to find his footing. As his paws planted themselves upright on the Earth, and his piercing eyes settled to the gleam of sunlight, the figure approached. A grey-pelted, shaggy-furred female with softened, grey eyes. "Hello," spoke the voice, a smile playing on her face as sunlight ran over it. "What's your name?" She asked, sitting now in front of him. Losi glanced past her, both towards the white male, and then to his onlooking sister. "...Losi," He replied, looking back towards the she-wolf. "I saw you fighting. You've got good technique," The wolf complimented, smile still present as Losi stood to chat back. "Of course it's good!" He exclaimed, smugly as his conceited personality always allowed, and the wolf laughed. She turned to the shaky elder and gave a settling nod. "My name's Isi," she said, rising off his haunches.

"Want to come with me, Losi?" She asked.
He pondered it. Then nodded. "Sure."
