Like the first stage of my open playbook
Makin' out like I didn't care, didn't get me anywhere

I'm tired of doing the dirty work
Working for that little life lesson

"Where you been? What'd you take, a pit stop?"

Stop tripping out about all this doubt, yeah, and where I belong

They say, "Dream big, bigger than ever before"
But if I keep dreaming, time will keep flying through that door
They say, "Pick something, something you can steer towards"
But it's got to be something worth aiming for

So I shoot for the moon, hoping to land in the stars
But I'm constantly being blocked by Venus and Mars
So I just sit back, see if it's in the cards
Waiting to play my lonely queen of hearts

I thought this passion was something that's supposed to last ya
But if I don't use it, I promise I'll go stagnant
I'm tired of people asking why I'm missing in action

And now I'm two halves split between the future and the past
Never present, just obsessing over every task
