Raksha and her sister Rafe were abandoned as puppies, taken in by Lillemor the mother bear at a sanctuary known as the enclave. The sisters lived there for a few months until two wolf couples from the Lupus Montis pack arrived and decided to adopt them. Raksha was taken in by the pack leader's daughter Storm and her mate, and the pack leader Lucille quickly realised that her new granddaughter had the makings of a good leader within her. Thus Raksha began to be trained to lead, and has been officially named the heir apparent to Lupus Montis. From such humble beginnings she is quickly becoming a very affluent wolf.
