One day, Atara was adopted by a wolf named Keba, the Alpha of the Luvice pack, Now called Lunar Pack. Who could not bare children. Therefore Atara was adopted and raised to be future Alpha.
As Atara was growing up, she had dreams of an essence world where the trees glowed with essence, blue and purple speckles that glowed. Animals that she didn't know existed even populated this land.
One night, as Atara was dreaming, a purple essence phoenix, known as Lavarne, the keeper of dreams introduced herself to Atara. They spent some time talking when Lavarne offered to mentor Atara about this land. Atara gratefully accepted her offer. The first thing Lavarne taught Atara was
how "The land is not a dream and how it is called Lunar World,a place where you can travel in your dreams."
Months of dreaming and training had passed when Lavarne gave Atara a few of her feathers and revealed that this whole time she had been mentoring Atara to take on her role, Keeper of Dreams.
She told Atara to wear the feathers proudly and respectfully, most of all carefully. This was because her feathers were the most valued things of all existence, everyone but her in her species had gone extinct because others were willing to kill for her feathers that were worth way more than diamonds.
When Atara asked what the feathers were for , Lavarne responded "You are getting my feathers because you are now The Keeper of Dreams. The only one who will wear my feathers until you choose the next Keeper of Dreams when you are old and weary."
"So why now?" Atara would question. Lavarne told Atara of how she was dying and after she turned into ash again, it would be her last time because she would not reform and rise again. "Goodbye.." , Lavarne whispered as her great phoenix form turned into nothing but a purple essence ash, blowing away in the wind.
Atara was not Atara. Now she was Atara, Keeper of dreams.
