𝟥. 𝐿𝑜𝓇𝑒

Themis grew up in a pack like everyone else, but she was alone. She didn't know her fathers name, let alone where he was. Her mother had left her as soon as she was old enough to eat meat. Her siblings all died before they were weaned. It ached, to be all alone. Her mother had left to be a traveler, feeling some inexplicable urge to leave all she'd ever known. Themis despised that urge, that feeling of not belonging. But she grew up feeling it with very breath and every paw step. She hated it, but it was part of her. That feeling that she needed to be somewhere else, that she belonged somewhere else, that she couldn't be here for much longer or she would explode.
Finally, one day, after her mother had visited her pack for a short time, she left too. Her mothers face, seeing it again after so long, had triggered some sort of panic in her. She needed to go, she needed to go NOW. And so she did. She started her travels, with barely an explanation as to why she was going. Because nobody could quite understand.
