Having come from the south where jungles border harsh deserts and mountainous wastes of heat and culture, Coyotl was named for his coyote-like appearance and confident, loud personality. When he was given up by his parents when they were crossing the plains, he was picked up by Eluwei while she was patrolling, and after no parents came to claim him, they offered to adopt him into their pack. While out of place in the pack, Eluwei does take it as a sign that he does look rather like her. However, Moytoy is still little hesitant of the newcomer to their family.
