Thunder took the celtic necklace from around her neck and lifted it over her head, draping it onto the customary stump. Taking the owl talon necklace, he laid it around her neck, and bowed his muzzle to touch the top of his head.
"By the power vested in me as Thunder Bay, Alpha of Flame of Grace I hereby pass my throne onto my daughter, Lune Natasha Aquila. Lune Natasha, do you swear to protect this pack with your life?"
"I do."
"Do you swear to care for this pack until your dying days?"
"I do."
"Do you swear to be loyal to this pack above all else?"
Lune met his gaze evenly. "I do."
"Then I hereby pronounce you Queen Lune Natasha Aquila of Flame of Grace!"
The pack roared, and her fathers eyes sparkled. He touched his muzzle to hers, and softly whispered, "I'm so proud of you." then he pulled away, only for someone else to take his place.
It was Hamilton. His dark golden fur flickered in the same shade of the lanterns, and his mischievous grin looked even more handsome in the darkness. She smirked.
"Hey lovely." She whispered, stepping closer to him. He ducked his head.
"Your majesty." There was humor in his voice, in his eyes. Lune adored him.
"You're the king now." She reminded him, brushing his ear with her nose.
"I suppose I am." He looked almost wistful. She tilted her head.
"Anything wrong love?"
He looked down at her with adoring eyes. "Nothing. Nothing at all."
