Born to Sif, Duikama was one of two melanistic wolves in her litter. It had been many years since the Blackcreek Pack had been blessed with a night wolf, let alone two at the same time.
The pack's seers had told Hypaxia that the pack would once again be blessed with special puppies. When Juxan and Duikama were born, it confirmed Eos and Thalassa's visions.
Always a keen and exuberant pup, Duikama kept her mother and the pup-sitters on their feet. As she grew up, she became more adventurous and started to push her boundaries. Eventually she was allowed to shadow some hunts before taking on a role teaching puppies.
With her zest for life and keen can-do attitude, Hypaxia offered Duikama a role as a traveler. Duikama accepted gratefully and looked forward to her first of hopefully many adventures.
