You find your way into the cave, having heard rumors of a wolf who resides there. A wolf who could solve all of your problems.
You wander inside aimlessly for a while. It was completely dark, so you had to walk slowly as to not hit the cave walls.
Suddenly, you hear footsteps, and stop immediately on your tracks.
You could feel the wind move around you, as if someone was circling you. You try to sniff the air, but you find no different scent.
Then the entire cave lights up. Your eyes hurt, and you struggle to see anything.
You blink a few times and look ahead. You jump when you notice a small creature standing right in front of you. It looked like a wolf, but it was the size of a rabbit and very skinny, so thin you can count all of it's bones.
The creature stares at you, unblinkely. It had this mischievous grim on it's face, like it was planing something the moment it laid it's eyes on you.
Finally, it broke the silence with a tiny giggle, and spoke
"Oh ho, what do we have here? A new friend, perhaps?" The creature then jumps on a big rock, and looks down on you, waiting fervently for your reply.
You stand there, speechless. You tried to say something but the words did not come out.
"Aw, did I spook you? Are you spooked? Don't be shy, I don't bite, most of the time!" The creature let's out a loud laugh, then continues "Are you here to get my help with your stuff, like the others?" You nod slowly "Well you're lucky then! I'm free today, so I can do your bidings! With a certain price, that is."
You feel like the creature's gaze is paralyzing you, you're unable to move or talk. It smiles and sticks it's tongue out, tasting your fear poisoning the air.
"I can do a lot of things, as long as we agree on a price and you sign a very simple contract. Y'know, keeping it to court! We can make a deal now, if you so desire."
You nod again, not sure of what you are getting yourself into.
