Rest in Peace Moxi, 2020

On 9/4/2020, I lost the life of my first foster kitten ever, Moxi. She was 5 to 6 weeks old when it happened, which is why I sought the ID #526 during EA. She had solid black fur, eyes just beginning to turn green and weighed in at about 13 oz. She was a beautiful special needs kitten with Hydrocephalus, a condition in which the excess cerebral spinal fluid surrounding the brain is unable to drain properly and causes issues such as head enlargement. This did not deter her from being the sweetest little girl. She always demanded to be held, constantly wanted to nap on my chest or shoulder and would waddle towards me whenever I walked in the room. Moxi’s attitude of yelling if I wasn’t within 5 feet of her is what earned her her name! Unfortunately, things don’t always last and due to asymptomatic complications she ended up passing away in the safety and care of a rescue that specialized in her condition. I still think of her everyday and wanted to honor her the best I could. I am so thankful for having you in my life, Mox, no matter how short it was.
