About me
I'm an aspiring melanism breeder, and my stud is a carrier. I'm going to use this as an excuse to ramble about clean breeding and how ridiculous it is.
So you want zero instances of inbreeding in your pack, and the trading center isn't the best option because it's hard to find wolves with a totally "clean" lineage. BUT, befriending wolves doesn't really work because you can't see the lineages of wolves in the chase pool. And there's stuff like that for pretty much every other way there is of obtaining wolves. And also with the "No big 4" or whatever-or was that Lioden?-what even qualifies a wolf to be part of that? How do people decide which wolves "contaminate" lineages and which don't? EVERY wolf is really related to some other wolf, and the only really clean wolves are your first lead and the first wolf you meet and customize in the tutorial! And to keep your pack COMPLETELY isolated from the rest of the population, you BETTER make that wolf the opposite gender as you and then inbreed forever. How boring. I don't care about contaminating lineages or whatever, and I usually just ignore it, but so-called "Clean Breeding" just really gets on my nerves for some reason
