Each den holds specific standards.
-Autumnshade clearing houses strong scouts & hunters whom have natural coat patterns perfect for slinking around the forest during daylight hours. These wolves are masters at camouflage & harbor speed and wisdom. Piebalds are kept in this den as well, and are usually scouts.
-The den of medicine houses sick wolves as well as the herbalist and their apprentice(s). Any color wolf may be an herbalist, but un natural colors are preferred as it keeps the wolf safer, unlike a hunting position.
-Nightshade corner is home to the wolves with the darkest colors in the pack. It is their duty to patrol territory & hunt at night and dusk. These wolves have great agility and train for head to head combat more than any of their other pack mates. Few pupsitters reside in this den but the ones who do are very strong and fight on the front lines with their cave mates.
-The starkeepers den is home to wolves with heightened senses/"powers". They are sacred to the pack. They can often receive omens, are in tuned with ancestors/nature and have more wisdom than the oldest of wolves from puppyhood. They aren't common, and there is usually less than five in the pack.
-The nest of innocence is where pups and most pupsitters reside. Many pupsitters here are albino or bright colored, as the position of pupsitter keeps them safer.
