A lush and enchanting realm, the Deciduous Forest is a symphony of nature's grandeur. Towering trees stretch their boughs towards the sky, adorned with leaves that paint the landscape in hues of fiery reds, sunlit oranges, and golden yellows during autumn.
Although beneath the thick cover of foliage, where the sunlight can't reach, you find yourself wandering down a muddy path. The air is damp and heavy, offering very little in the way of scents. The sticky muck clings to your fur, thorny brambles snag and tear at your face. The sounds of the forest around are alive, birds and crickets chirping. Frogs buried deep within the murky puddles of water bellow out their nightly tunes.
A hushed silence falls over the land, you pause, your instincts on high alert. A massive shadow crosses in front of you, a large fog pelted wolf stands before you. Your mind begins to swim with questions. How long had he been there? How had you not heard or even scented him? How could he walk so silently?
The large wolf steps closer, his expression neutral as he seems to assess you for a moment. "What have we here?" He questions. His tone is low and stern, yet not unkind. He steps closer closing the distance between you and him, extending his neck ever so slightly as he scent checks the air around you.
He steps back after a moment, "Come." He says, and turns trotting off into the thick underbrush, disappearing like a shadow.
