Aeonium #1212

Just your typical, sleepy person living in the Northwest. Surviving off of caffeine, sugar, and the anticipation of summer. I have a wonderful boyfriend and two high-energy dogs that brighten my day while keeping me on my toes. One is a five-year-old, long-coat German Shepherd and the other is an eight-month-old, working-line Australian Shepherd. What can I say, the herding breeds have my heart. In my spare time, and when the weather allows, I enjoy being outdoors and hiking new trails. Responsibly camping in National Forests, working to improve my mediocre fishing skills, and celebrating my ability to stand balanced on my paddleboard, I try to get out in nature whenever there's an opportunity.

If I were to spew out some random information about myself, here are the first things that come to mind. I'm left-handed and find it amusing (in a light-hearted way) when people refer to it as being "south-pawed". Though I try not to be, I'm a pretty picky eater and heavily dislike mushrooms, fish, coconut, raisins, avocado, and soy/teriyaki sauces. I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and am incredibly grateful that my boyfriend has learned how to help, especially when I'm overwhelmed. My favorite color changes but for the past year or so, I've been really fixated on the dull greens.
Like many others here, I gravitated toward this site after spending years on lioden. Though I am inactive on the sister site, my account there shows a registration date of nearly ten years ago; which is just wild for my brain to process. I was a part of that lucky group selected for beta testing (go bears!). Admittedly, I probably wasn't much help because most of the bugs I discovered were those already reported. Still, it was a unique experience and I remain grateful for that opportunity.

Though I do tend to keep to myself socially, some of you may remember me as "Fallen", which was my username on numerous sites until late 2020. Aeonium is a genus of succulents, which I highly prefer over flowers, and seemed like a fitting change given my ever-growing collection of plants. Ni was a nickname that I acquired on another site, though you're welcome to shorten it however you please. You can also refer to me as my original user, since "Fallen" stuck around for over a decade.

I enjoy messing with CSS files and I apologize if my den or profile ever loads poorly on your device. I've always had interest toward code and the ability to create/style things to an individual's preference. I'm self-taught and still rely heavily on the "inspect" tool, so the visual throw-up and disorganized lines that make up my files are the primary reason I'll likely never open a shop.
