As you approach this wolf, you can immediately tell that they've been in a fight recently. New scars are scattered about his pelt and he is currently licking a wound on his paw before he notices someone is watching. He quickly looks up to you, his eyes hold a worried look before it gives way to relief.
"Ah, Wanderer. You return. I'd give you a better greeting but the Herbalist would be upset if he saw me walking around right now." You nod your head and lay down beside him as you ask him what happened. "Well, making a long story short, Ithelan challenged me for the Alpha Male position and I clearly lost. Now he makes sure I know my place whenever he's in camp." He gives a small sigh as he looks over to the pack's leader who seems to be enjoying her chat with Doshiel.
"I never expected Ithelan to be the one to challenge me in all honesty. I always thought Doshiel would challenge me as he is Adaleni's bonded mate. Doshiel and I don't even get along." he grumbled before getting lost in thought. You give him a worried look before saying you need to leave for your next journey and wish him well. As you leave, you can't help but worry about how this new Alpha Male will be for the pack.
