Fox Slayers Pack
Apollo was born on the snowy depths of the deciduous forest. Their adoptive mother, Rowen, often had her paws full having to watch over the packs younger ones. Apollo was left spending his days alone, gazing off into the distance. Those times they weren't alone, they spent with their closest friend, Kai. Apollo never felt quite at home in their pack - and they dreamed of the forest, with its dense undergrowth, fronding ferns and shadowed brambles. They missed digging their paws into the mossy grounds and feeling the strong breeze against their pelt. They missed adventure.

Lore: Apollo met a pack of wolves on the move. They told him their ancestral home was the desert, but they were journeying to the glacier "to check out the hunting."

"Seems weird to have the whole pack move," Apollo said. "Couldn't you just have the hunters go there for hunts, and everyone else stay put?"

"You can do that?!" they said.

They discussed it among themselves and decided they'd go ahead and move ("We wanted a change of pace anyway," they said), but they would definitely consider his idea in future.

Lore: Apollo was used to the cold air that greeted them as the days wore on. They were traveling mainly north, and while winter was many moons away, they felt a chill wind in their fur. Waking one morning to snow, Apollo sniffed around for some food before continuing. What they found instead was special: a cloth of sorts, caught on a branch. Apollo broke the branch and claimed the fabric as his own, cleaning the human stench off it in the snow and harnessing his new possession with pride. It would keep him warm.

Lore: Apollo arrived on a cold, rainy autumn night, the moon was at third quarter. As He traveled deeper into the frigid mountains, he was met with a brutal attack from Battle Winner, he tore at his fur and left a scar, then dragging him to the packs camp to give him to the unforgiving Life Stealer. However, Life Stealer had recognized them from tales of other packs from the previous traveler, Tsu'Tey, and scolded Battle Winner. Though without such a welcoming start, Apollo still stayed around a bit to learn about this gruesome pack. In which he was terrified yet sad to hear how many pups and wolves had been killed for minimal strength or beauty, in pity he became a pupsitter to try to help show basic morals to the other pupsitters, and even Life Stealer.

Lore: leaving the mountains, Apollo traveled through the Grasslands into the Deciduous Forest, sniffing the air he smelled tons of fresh food. Following the scent he stumbled upon a pack of rowdy but caring wolfs having a feast, a dove had suddenly landed on Apollo's back cooing for him to enter. A friendly wolf noticed him and smiled beckoning him to join, deciding to stay with this pack while he rested from the long journey Telling stories and helping deliver a litter of pups with another feast to celebrate.



Apollo went to the Noel Winter Eve pack. even though the pack had lot of wolves. he decided to become a hunter for the pack during his stay. Apollo choose to be in the main hunt group. he felt happy that he could help the pack get food.

Lore: Apollo's arrival at the Court of Howls went unnoticed. The whole pack seemed busy digging around and ripping weeds. Apollo moved towards a pale wolf that introduced herself as Daiqui and, after a couple of questions, she explained him that they were expecting a lot of litters and that they needed more dens, so they were clearing up the unused ones, now filled with weeds and rocks.
Being a traveler, Apollo had never built a den, but he offered his help nonetheless, to repay the pack for its hospitality.

Lore: Apollo was travelling through huge fields with lush green grass and vibrant flowers when he came across a large she-wolf laying in the sunshine. She didn't hesitate to introduce herself and told him that she was used to these travelers passing by. She offered him a few nights in her own pack and he accepted it eagerly. He was shocked to realize he was talking to the pack's leader, Esmée. They became good friends and hunted together. When he departed she gave him a small necklace to remember her by.

Lore: even though Apollo had travelled through the frosty glaciers of the north, the terrain seemed rather tame in comparison to the tundra. It may have been warmer, but where the tall glaciers protected wolves from the wind, the tundra was an open moor where icy wind ripped and tore at his pelt from all sides. They decided to take shelter in a nearby shrub, at least for long enough to regain their energy. Not too long after, another wolf came along, who introduced herself as Vixen. She explained the she was a nearby pack's scout, and offered to take Apollo to the pack to warm up. He agreed, desperately needing to rest his sore paws. The traveller ended up staying slightly longer than he'd expected, though the longing for adventure was too strong. After sharing their farewells, the wolf continued on it's journey, eager to see more of the distant territories

Lore: Travelling back into the tundra brought back many memories for the traveller. How he grew up in these cold parts of the world, sharing fresh-kill with his other young friends. The more he aged up, the more he was determined to leave his pack, his impulsive leader, and everyone behind to explore other packs and hopefully find out more about the world around him. He promised to come back later and before they knew it, he set off into the night, in search of welcoming packs. But coming back into the tundra, and seeing all these familiar faces, made his heart race. The wolves welcomed him in with open paws and cared for him until he decided to go off again. Even though he so badly wanted to stay, his journey wasn't over yet.

Lore: Apollo had been wondering for days in the bitter winter chill. His paws were hard and cracked, and his will had taken a severe beating. He was just about to pass out when a beautiful marengo wolf, glowing with lunar essence, caught him. "Are you ok?" she asked. "Are you a traveler?" Apollo mumbled something. Apparently taking that as a yes, the wolf proceeded to lead Apollo to a cave, full of wolves sheltering from the vicious winter weather. They were everywhere. Wolves sleeping, wolves talking, wolves eating. "This is the traveler cave. Enjoy your stay." The wolf turns to leave, but stops. "Oh, and just one more thing-" All the heads of her pack raise in unison: "Welcome to Moonblade the pack of the stars."

Lore: Apollo was exhausted from walking for days. As Apollo was about to collapse from exhaustion, they heard a wolf call out. The wolf ran towards Apollo and helped them get up. The wolf offered food and took him to a nearby river. Apollo thanked the wolf and they started talking. Apollo talked about their journeys and the other wolf listened, fascinated. The wolf took Apollo to the pack and introduced them to everyone. They all welcomed him. After a few days, Apollo was ready to continue his journey. The wolf that helped him in the beginning went to see him before he left. They stood next to each other, enjoying the scenery, but not looking at each other.

"You never told me your name," Apollo said, looking down feeling a bit embarrassed for some odd reason.

"My name's Nuwa."

Apollo looked at her and smiled. Nuwa revealed a gift she made for Apollo; a crown. She gently put it on Apollo's head and gave a soft smile. With that, he was off to continue his journey. He'd never know he became close friends with a young goddess.

Apollo's head was filled with pleasant memories from every land he'd ventured to so far, with the exemption of a few. He was feeling rather confident as he trotted unwarily through the miles of forest. As he left the deciduous, and travelled through the coniferous forest, he'd decided to continue and find the taiga, knowing he hadn't travelled there much.
Passing rows of pines and spruce, he was excited to see what he could collect. He'd received so much from everywhere he travelled, he wanted to take a souvenir from where his next stop would take him. As he sniffed around, waiting to scent anything interesting, he jerked his head up to a peculiar scent.
"What on earth was that musky scent.." He said to himself quietly, as he poked his head around to try and spot what creature may be causing it.
To his shock, what he originally thought was a bush or brambles and willow, started to move, and grow to what looked like 40 feet tall..it loomed over him and stared with narrow green eyes.
"It can't be.." he whispered as he thought of the possibility of one of those fearsome cryptid creatures finding him..
As he stared frightfully, the creature turned, and slowly stomped away through the trees.
As he gazed in disbelief, a voice cracked behind him.
"You need not worry traveller, that was just a Sasquatch." The voice echoed. Apollo whirled around to meet the wolf's gaze.
"Apologies to startle you! I couldn't help but notice when you entered my territory. I was coming to help find whatever it was you were looking for.. but I watched as you managed to encounter one of the kinfolk." Apollo took a moment to answer. "So you aren't worried of that thing?, at all?.." he asked as the wolf's eyes already gave him the answer.
"Okay than… well, now that I'm here, are you fine if I stick around for a few days?." Apollo spoke.
"Of course." Foliose answered.
"Come!, let's fetch some things for you to collect along the way!"
Before Apollo's time was up, Foliose made sure the traveller didn't leave without a nice hefty pile of acorns to take with him.

Apollo could feel their body growing weary with age, and their wanderlust starting to fade. It was time they made their way back to the pack where they born, to finally be with their family again after having explored so much of the land and made so many amazing friends of many different packs. They reached the Deciduous Forest where they'd been born, but could tell from the smell their pack had long moved from there. They were able to pick up their scent trail, which led him north. But, in their old age, Apollo was no longer able to travel as fast and as far as they once could, and before even reaching the edge of the forest, they found themself needing rest. It was then that they came across Frostbite, the leader of a pack by the name of Littlefangs. After hearing their story, she offered to let them stay with her pack until they'd recovered enough to continue their travels. However, she warned them she was preparing to move her pack into a new territory in the tundra to the north. Apollo explained they were also heading in that direction, and that they'd be happy to help in the preparations as a thanks for the pack's hospitality.
They quickly became popular with the puppies, who would often pester them with requests to share stories of their travels. Saddened to learn they were leaving the Littlefangs, the puppies decided to make Apollo a crown of herbs so that they'd always remember their time with them.
