Motaki was there from the beginning. She was present when their first leader, Skylax, created the pack. She was there when he died at a young age. She was there when Amarok was born, the second, more well-known leader. She was there when he too passed young. She watched with love as Raven and Crow were born, watched as he rose and became a well-respected leader of the pack to this day. She was there from the beginning, and she would be there until the end.
She was a mother to all wolves, taking care of them and gently guiding them onto the right path. She was the second wolf to join the pack, when it was just Skylax claiming his own territory. She was his mate, and although she only had one litter of her own, she treated each wolf within the pack like they were her own pups.
Motaki preferred a life of calmness. She lived her days giving advice and watching over the young pups. She watched as wolves came and left, as they were born and died. But she did not stop, because the pack would always need her.
As she grows older, her finally months simmering on the horizon, she knows her pack will be safe. They will continue to prosper and grow, even without her guidance. Her mark will forever be left upon the pack, even as she begins her run among the stars.
