Biography
Grullafur trotted through the forest. He loved how some of his pack members had more than one name.He remembered one time when he was a puppy when he had wandered off this exact direction. He sniffed the air and picked up a trace of Whorlpup. The pup wasn't his, but he still liked it. He liked all pups. Every one of his kids in this pack he had a connection with.
He stuck his nose in the air and sniffed again. He couldn't smell Whorlpup. Only the odor of a condor. Was he dead? Or was he close? He looked over his shoulder, but all he saw was his grey-black fur, known to the pack as a grulla coat. His coat was pretty rare, so Moonstar had assigned him as breeding male to the Pack. He heard his scout-mate come up behind him. "What's up, Mintwillow?"
"Grulla," Mint said. "Windprairie said one of her pups are missing."
"Calm down, Mint, and smell," Grullafur said, lifting his nose.
Mint was quiet for a moment while she sniffed the air. "That's Whorl!"
"Uh-huh," he replied, continuing to walk towards the smell.
"Isn't that condor?" she asked.
"Yup," Grullafur grunted, turning his head to look at the frightened Mintwillow. "It's fine, Mint. The condor's gone, and Whorlpup is still there.
