Paloma Pack

Wandering throughout the land, Galaxy came across a wolf pack in the deciduous forest. Ash, the leader, took her under her care and decided to teach her as an apprentice. She raised and cared for Galaxy as her own pup. Years passed and Galaxy was ready to take over. Ash grew in years, the silver peeking through her auburn fur. She lays on her deathbed as she urges Galaxy closer.

"You have been training for this for the years you've been here." Ash said softly "It's your turn to take over the pack." Galaxy's eyes filled with tears as she touched Ash's nose with her own. "I'll make you proud i promise." Galaxy whispered.

Ash's body went limp under Galaxy's touch. Her eyes clouding over as the light left her eyes. Galaxy lifted her head and looked at her body. After a few minutes, Ash's body was buried alongside the other wolves that died, a stick marking her burial site. Scattered around the stick was offerings that Ash enjoyed in her lifetime. The pack lifted their heads and let out a deep howl to the moon.
