The High Order
Once there was a pack named "The Shining Moon Pack". Founded by Aurora Moon, she spread her beliefs of the Moon Goddess, and created a pack with balance and deep spirituality.
There was a young wolf who had been named Soft Storm who disagreed with how his pack was run. He was selfish and malicious, and not only did he denounce his name given to him by the "Moon Alpha" at the time, he also denounced the Moon Goddess, claiming to have been given a vision by a God of Death, Balor.
Ciaran, as he renamed himself, had a dream that he drowned. He rose from the water, expelling it from his lungs, and his eyes had turned a red color, and he faced Balor. Balor told him he was a King. And as a king he had to take what was his, as it was the highest order he could receive. When he woke his eyes shone the same red color as the vision.
He manipulated Moon Flower, who was old and weak, and convincing her the Moon Goddess selected him and he had a vision that brought them to the Tundra. After moving them there, he killed her, claiming his place as the leader, the King of the pack. Threatening anyone who tried to disobeyed him, and killing or sending off those who did.
- Leader must decend from Ciaran, the first King, and are always male
- Cannot breed outside of pack unless you are King, if found guilty, you will become a Skaldah
- All newcomers must be tested, and proven worthy of joining by entering a solo pack hunt. If successful, they join. If not, they are sent away. Must stay in den outside of camp for the first 3 months (6 rollovers)
- Pups and adolescents are not welcomed unless born here
- An adolescent must participate in three successful hunts (one per each role) before they can train in their designated role, if all three hunts have not been completed before they turn 1 year, they will become a Skaldah
- King's family eats first
- King's word is final
- Those who disobey or disagree with the rules or King become a Skaldah
- Aingeals 🕊️ - The spirits of who the pack pray to for guidance
- King 👑 - Leader of the pack
- Queen ⚜️ - King's mate, advises King and takes over temporarily if king becomes ill
- Heir 🎗️ - This is the wolf who will accend the throne and become the next King, not necessarily the firstborn son of the previous King
- Royalty 🧬 - These are the wolves who share blood with Ciaran, the first King
- Apothecary 🍃 - healer and spiritual leader of the pack, either sex
- Council 📖 - Elder male wolves to help guide the King, makes minor pack decisions (ie. hunting, scouting, (dis)approving mates)
- Land Runners 🐾 - They scout the land to expand territory and relay information to the pack, either sex
- Hunters 🏹 - Male wolves of the pack who hunt and provide food for the pack, 2 hunting teams (primary, secondary)
- Adolescents 🌱 - Those young wolves who are learning, and finding their role in the pack
- Pupsitters 🍼 - female wolves of the pack who nurse and care for the pups of the pack
- Pups 🌱🍼 - The young wolves of the pack who aren't old enough to start training
- Newcomers ⏳ - Wolves who have passed the entry test, and have been in the pack for less than three months, no assigned role yet
- Skaldah 💥 - Wolves who have been banished from the pack, will be killed if they enter the territory
