Welcome one, welcome all to the GoldenRidge pack!

You blink open your eyes as the sun shines down upon your fur. Rolling hills stretch out before you, wolves streaming down the hillside to greet you. They surround you, though each wolf is welcoming as they brush their fur along yours. Then, a massive black male wolf with a white face and underbelly steps forward. Everyone backs away, staring at you curiously.

"I am Alpheus, leader of this pack and king of this land. State your business." The wolf would say, looking down at you with blazing yellow eyes.

you answer him, and he seems to accept that answer. "Right this way then. Pack, let's go." His words were strong, commanding. His tone was one of someone who knew truly how to lead.

His packmates followed, a few giving you kind smiles and you pad alongside them. It wasn't a long walk, but you find yourself slowing down as you grew closer to the campsite. It was a hallow, dug out from an ancient lake. It was lovely. You couldn't help but stare in awe. A few wolves let out howls, raising their heads to the sky in alert a new wolf was coming. You notice the remaining adults and some adolescents respond to the call with howls of their own. The camp seemed to burst into life, adults ushering pups into the shadows and adolescents stopping their training to stand tall beside their mentors.

you were led into the camp, and brought to the center where you were told to sit while everyone stared.

"everyone! This wolf has come to share tongues with our pack. Think of them…as a visitor of sorts. Please treat them with respect, for they have come to tell us the tales of other far away lands." Alpheus announced, climbing ontop of the large rock that sat in the center of the camp. The other wolves nodded their agreement, barking and howling for the new arrival.

"Welcome, wise one, to Goldenridge."
