As for the bug occurring, it mostly seems to happen when a wolf is on a job (or an adolescent who is being apprenticed) and then that job is cancelled, whether manually, or due to the death of a wolf. This includes mentors training pups, where the pups may get stuck if the mentor dies before the lesson is completed. At the moment, we would suggest avoiding cancelling hunts/scouts/etc, and avoid having wolves within the death window (wolves 7 years 6 months and older) doing jobs/being mentors as that seems to help avoid it as the coders look into this.
