The Sunset Claws
The Sunset Claws was founded by Orkney when she was a younger wolf. Her previous pack had been destroyed in a war where she lost her parents and siblings but she doesn't remember many details about them. She knows she is a spitting image of her mother with her father's eyes. But she did remember the pack's traditions as if they were yesterday. Orkney remembers how they would always do a ritual on the first day of summer since the Sun Wolf was born during that time and they would eat for days on end.
The pack originally was from the Deciduous Forest but to be closer to their Sun Wolf, they had moved to the desert. Most would think it was ridiculous to move to such a place that was normally hot and extremely dry. But to them, the desert was only temporary as they knew valued trees and grassy lands over the sand and cactuses. They still felt as if the desert was the place the Sun Wolf resided so they would stay until they moved to the swamp area and from there, they hope to move to the rainforest where they believe that their Sun Wolf had finally settled down in that area.
Orkney had traveled to many packs both in her adolescence and adulthood, many of those packs were run by males that would make the females out to be the worst. The weakest, slowest, most emotional, and some of the women would even have to deal with mates that were not loyal to them though she did not care as it was their business in their own love lives. She vowed to herself to never take a mate nor let a male rule over a pack since many seemed incompetent in ruling, letting a lot of their wolves without reason starve and die of sickness.
Many wolves within the pack are females as some came from packs that were not safe for them or Orkney saw a wolf that caught her eye and she knew that they would fit perfectly in what she wanted her pack to display. Strength, obedience, and loyalty are the three most important things to the pack. This applies to all pack members regardless of class as without one of them, then none would be able to function correctly. Even the nonmen within the pack do have value in the eyes of the queen although they are treated the worse due to what got them there.
The Sunset Claws' royal family consists of the queen, Orkney, her adopted and biological children, and her one grandchild. Most of the wolves hold great respect for the royals and seeing the younger generations of the royals come about makes the wolves celebrate but what if behind the scenes, the royal family held their own secrets?
Rules Of The Pack
1. Males can never be royals, the highest role they can be are herbalists and they must meet a certain look to be able to.
2. Not all classes will receive a fair trial.
3. Males can be deemed "nonmen" and stripped of all rights to them.
4. Females are always the leader of the family and if the female dies then there will be one appointed to the family or the eldest daughter will take care of the family.
5. Freedom of Speech does not exist unless you are a part of the royals. Speech is regulated by Seekers.
6. Do not start wars you can not finish. The deaths would all be for nothing.
