Chapter 2
Scatter came back, battle wounds covering her body. Her mate, Antler, had attacked her out of greed for the alpha rank. She had managed to defeat him, returning home to her pups, where a concerned Fallen treated her wounds. Betrayal hurts, it hurt even more coming from him. In the heartache she turned bitter towards her pups, ignoring them most of the time.
Her pups had gotten lost, never to return. The world was cruel, so how could she manage to lead a pack with no heritage of the alpha? Lets hope it's possible.
