Basswood Pack
Basswood wolves are a lineage stemming down from great upright beasts forgotten in time. It is believed that for generations some wolves walked upright, or so the Basswood pack believes. They are the descendants of both man and wolf, carried scarcely through generations and intermingled throughout the lands. A bridge formed during the time man and wolf first came together, one diverging path the pair took in kind to dogs.
In time those upright walking children of Lupus would return to their paws and flee back into the forest, finding themselves rejected and hunted by the very union that had brought them to be, Man and his loyal Hunds.
Much more preferable is the decision to name oneself. For a trying time, a friend all but forgotten, a patch of sun one likes to rest in. We have our reasons and they are only ours.

Core Virtues and Beliefs
Manifestation comes by the will of its thinker
This is to say, that not only emotional transformation or achievements are reached by a heavy drive to see them through but also physical transformation or desires. The only limitation is the desire of others. You cannot manifest if another wishes it themselves.
Dedication above Loyalty
The meaning is that one has a dedication to themselves and each of those that they care for, not one above others. That is not to say love should be given freely to any or those that do not deserve it, but that we are capable of being dedicated to more than one wolf and more than one belief so long as they are of personal value to us. Should they no longer be, blind loyalty should not remain.
A Life Taken is a Life Given
Whether hunting for the pack, yourself or removing an opponent from this world, by Lupus it must be for reason. The only reason is to preserve the life of another/others or to maintain those through sustenance. We do not kill for sport or glory. We shall not seek a kingdom or title that is not ours through the means of death. It is guardians, protectors who shall find themselves to lead.
