Forest Creek Pack

The forest is absolutely enormous--it's the first thing you noticed about it. You also noticed the small whispers in the trees, the way the mist folded around the plants. It was, quite frankly, mesmerizing. You could tell the place was brimming with life, with deer, foxes, badgers, birds...

You had gotten lost after a scouting trip, unable to find your way back to the mountains you live in. Now, you were in some forest, and you had no idea what dwells here. Something dangerous? You had no idea what to expect--you've never been here, after all.

"And who, exactly, are you?"

You jump and turn around to see a large, grey and brown wolfess. As the female bounded closer to you, you noticed the wolf's intense yellow eyes. The wolf didn't seem all too friendly, however you did accept the fact that she didn't attack you yet, at the very least. You manage to ask the female her name, despite her startling gaze.

"My name is Dusk, and it seems you've stumbled on our land."

You decided to follow the strange wolf, and as you trailed along behind Dusk, you heard howls of wolves making their presence known. It made you shiver--to think that all these wolves were here, and you hadn't noticed any of them...
There were mostly adults, however you still felt a feeling, as if you were being watched. Watched by something...otherworldly, almost.

"This is the Forest Creek Pack," Dusk explained. "This forest is our home, and we honor our gods in a number of ways. They provide for us, so we must uphold their legacy. After all, we did witness the birth of a new goddess. How else not to repay them than to commemorate them?" As if predicting your rather confused expression, Dusk smiled a moment. "Yes, newcomer. Here, we have gods. I assume you must have felt their presence by now?

"But I won't bore you too long, newcomer. I'll allow you to relax with us a little while, until you have enough energy to move on in your travels."
