The legacy of Freya

The history of the pack with the name "The legacy of Freya" is a bit more turbulent than one would expect and want. It is the story of great love and betrayal, of luck and happiness, the same as the opposite. But lets begin at the begining and not jump.

A wolf lifetime ago, there was a wolf. He was a male and he was a barely adulted youngster, when he left his pack for adventures and to proof himself. His name was Greyfur. He travelled a great distance as the area around his homepack was densely populated. Through his long treck through moores he found a white female wolf in distress. She was caught in a hunter trap and Greyfur used all his witts to get her free. He then spent time hunting to ween her back to health. Her name was Freya. They travelled together and Freya showed him how to collect herbs and how to mix medicines. They grown quite attached and Greyfur thought he found a mate. One autumn morning, when mists were raising from the moores, he woke up, only to find she was gone. Only a wiff of thyme and erica in the air, her scent not leading from that place. He searched for her for two days, with not a single clue, where she may have gone. On the third day evening, she appeared, slightly glowing. She told Greyfur that she was a god, that tested him, if he was mature enough to become a leader and good enough for the tasks she had for him. She admited to him, that she grew very fond of him, but it ws not meant for them to be together as mates. Still, she said, she will help him as a herbalist, until his pack has his own. She also brought a female to him, one, that was travelling through the moores, same as him. Her name was Elhana and they grow fond of each other. And the next spring they had their first young. That is how the Legacy of Freya was found.
