Chaotic Heart Pack

The more the merrier! I am very passionate about wolves, always have been.

The Beginning

The damp air crackles with electricity. A humanoid figure emerges from a tree, the portal closing behind him. He looks around, taking in the view of this new world with his dark red eyes. 

"Seems peaceful," he thinks to himself, looking down at the forest that stretched on for miles on his right and the rocky mountains on his left. In the distance he sees a small group of creatures. Wolves; it seems they are on a hunt. He observes them carefully, without them noticing. "Interesting. I suppose they will do."

He sits down and scoops mud from the ground and begins molding a sculpture, as if it were clay. It doesn't have much detail, but after a while it is obvious that it is supposed to be a wolf. When he is done, he places his hand on the crude sculpture's head and whispers in an ancient language. The mud begins to melt away, revealing thick brown fur underneath, coming to life. As the last of the mud sloughs off the new wolf, he gives a shake and opens his yellow eyes, staring into the eyes of his creator. The figure nods, satisfied with his work. He says to the new wolf, "Hello. My name is Dis. I'm a lesser god of chaos traveling between worlds, learning about the inhabitants and deciding if they are worth helping, ignoring... or destroying. I created you using a small portion of my soul, so that you can be my eyes and ears in this new world. Your name will be Dis, as you are essentially a fraction of myself. Join the other wolves and lead them. Grow your empire...no, your pack, and get to know as many inhabitants of this world as you can. After you've collected enough information, I will be the judge of their fate". The lesser god stands up, brushing dirt from his clothes, and says, "Until we meet again," and turns and walks back into the tree from which he emerged, exiting the world, leaving Wolf Dis standing under the pine trees, alone.
