Shadows dance on the moon-kissed earth around you. The hills have been washed in dusk and lavender, and everything is still. There's the faint shuffling of leaves and underbrush, and you still in anticipation. As a silver figure gracefully lands in front of you, you feel a shiver run down your spine. Her fur is frosted in moonlight and her blue eyes are sharp, curious.
She finally dips her head in a wary greeting. "You look lost, friend," she murmurs.
"This is the Rikr pack. What can I help you with?"
The silver wolf flicks her tail at something you can't see in the dark woods, but moments later a mottled red-and-white wolf brushes out of the ferns nearby. In a few bounds, he reaches his leader and nods to her in respect before facing you with icy clear eyes.
"This is Edilon," the she-wolf murmurs softly. "Now that your questions are satisfied, he will show you around."
The gray leader doesn't wait for your response before turning her back on you and disappearing into brush behind her. The red-and-white male stands and gestures with his nose for you to follow him.
He leads you silently through the brush and bracken. It tugs at your fur as you squirm through, but as you exit the tangle, you find yourself in a large open space.
Across the clearing is a large gnarled pine tree stump, surrounded by undergrowth. To the left of the clearing is a large rocky overhang, with a small crack in it. You swear you can hear faint whines from the crack. To the right, you see cluster of nests under the shadow of some trees with softly lit pelts laying together.
