Welcome to Fernbrook.
Fernbrook's territory is centered on a stony riverbank that most other packs wouldnt touch due to severe flooding in the spring and summer months. Holding claim to a large section of the river's rapids and the surrounding woods, Fernbrook is made of several strong swimmers and runners.
The pack's roots originate with Willow, Ebony, Birch, and Chestnut. Originally, Willow was the only holder over the territory, being one of the few wolves strong enough to wade across the swift river's currents.
Ebony, Birch, and Chestnut were a roaming band of rouges, milling from one territory to the next. But when Birch slipped into the winter river, they were forced to take pause. Offering her territory as a safe haven, Willow dragged Birch from the freezing river and into the only dry nest within her den. As the female recovered, Willow grew accustomed to their presence. By the start of Spring, Willow openly invited them into her territory to stay.
But why they made her the Alpha, is still a mystery even to her.
